I am here but not to review something.This time I am here to talk about a herb.
Yes,herbs you know well.We often use them in kitchen and they are a very important part of our cuisine.They add to our tastes and even they are far more healthy than it.
These little classy plants are easy to grow in our home gardens to.They have a beautiful aroma.
We will keep talking about them but today we will talk about....any guesses ????

It is a herb well known as pudina in india with beautiful green leaves and soothing peppermint like properties as it belongs to  family.Mint has a refreshing aroma and it adds a good flavour to our food specially salads,raitas,curd/yogurt & most girl favorites chaats and chutneys (pachadis).Mint is often used in many medicines,moisturisers & hair shampoos etc.
It is not only useful in the kitchen raising our taste buds but it is also good for skin & hair due to it's antibacterial properties and medicinal values.It is used in aroma therapy.Mint oil is of great use.
So,let's discuss how mint is good for our skin & hair.





 👉   🍃   USES OF MINT FOR SKIN    🍃                 👇


1).      Treat Pimples & Acne :-      

🍀 If you have a problematic skin.Everymorning you wake up with a new pimple on your face and shout loud OH MY GOD ! Not again..then mint is for you.
Just soak some fresh leaves of mint in water in a bowl and then crush it and apply it on your pimples.It helps in destroying them but in a good way.
You can grind mint leaves with rose water and apply to your face on the affected area.If you have acne on all over face,you can leave it overnight.
Apply a paste of mint juice,tomato juice and fuller's earth (multani mitti) to treat acne and fade acne scars.It removes blackheads too.
Salicylic acid present in mint helps in curing acne.

2).         For Removal Of Marks & Age Spots :-       

🍀If you have pimple and acne marks,mint can help you.Apply it's juice regularly on them.For age spots and marks,mix mint juice with cucumber juice and apply it to your skin to get rid of age spots and cure pigmentation.

3).            For Tightening Pores :-           

🍀crush and mix mint leaves with honey and apply to cleanse your face and tighten pores.

4).           Mint As A Toner & Cleanser :-       

🍀Take water and boil some mint leaves in it.Turn it to simmer till half of the water gets reduced or evaporates.Cool the liquid and use it as a cleanser and toner.It also removes excess oil.

5).         Prevent Wrinkles :-       

🍀Mix olive oil,curd honey and mint juice to make a face pack.Apply it to your face once a week to prevent wrinkles.
You can use it as a face pack.The soothing feeling it gives to skin is like a boon in hot summers.Just try it and see !!! You can also add egg white instead of olive oil.

6).          Dried Mint :-        

🍀Dry leaves of mint and then you can use it whenever you want.All you need is,just soak it in water and after some time apply it.

7).         Astringent :-       

🍀Mint is a very good astringent.Boil leaves in water  and cool it and apply it.It also helps in allergies.You can fill it in spray bottle too.


8).          Exfoliate :-       

🍀Make a thick paste by mixing mint juice and oatmeal.Gently rub the paste on your skin in circular motion in upwards direction to remove dead skin cells,dirt,bacteria,excess oil and other debris.

9).          Treat  Insect Bites :-          

🍀Dab a little mint juice on the area of insect bite or sting.It will soothe the insect bite, itching and will give your skin a cool feeling.Mint has anti-inflammatory properties.It is natural insect repellent.

10).         Complexion Brightening :-       

🍀Apply a paste of fresh mint leaves to your skin to brighten it.Due to vitamin A content in it,it makes skin soft.Rejuvenates the skin.

11).          Reduce Eye Puffiness :-        

🍀Apply mint leaves juice or paste around eyes to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles.Be careful as eyes are very delicate.Make sure it wouldn't get into your eyes.


12).         Treat Foot Odour :-       

🍀Are you ashamed of bad foot odour.Then,just boil the mint leaves in water.Let it cool and apply on your feet.You can also soak your feet in a tub containing lukewarm water and mint leaves/mint leaves juice.


13).         Treat Cracked Heels :-       

🍀Mix olive oil and mint juice and apply this mixture to your feet.Then,wear socks and leave it overnight.It will soften you feet and treat your cracked heels.


👉     🍃 USES OF MINT FOR HAIR 🍃        👇

1).          In Scalp Treatment :-      

🍀Sometimes due to allergies,your scalp feel not good & feel irritation.Wash your scalp with mint juice.You can boil mint leaves in water and wash your scalp with it after cooling.

2).        To Add Lustre On Your Hair :-        

🍀Boil mint leaves in water for 20minutes.You can also boil celery leaves with it.Now,strain out the leaves and rinse your hair with water.It will add shine to your hair.



3).      Hair Strengthening & Boost Hair Growth :-    

🍀Boil mint leaves in water.You can add celery leaves too as above and then you can wash your hair with the liquid.It helps in strengthening your hair and boosts hair growth.


4).       Hair Conditioning :-      

🍀Apply mint juice to hair to get smooth and frizz free hair.
